We are so delighted to have Leora’s bright shining light at the Alchemy Learning Center. Leora’s melding of Western Medicine with a background as a medical doctor combined with the wisdom of Eastern Medicine as an acupuncturist brings an amazing perspective to her Alchemy.
Leora holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, and she has completed the Medical Acupuncture Course for Physicians through the Helms Medical Institute. She is certified in Levels 1 and 2 in Neuro-acupuncture by Drs. Jason and Linda Hao, authors of the textbook Chinese Scalp Acupuncture. She is also completing a Classical Acupuncture Mentorship with emphasis on the Complement Channels, including the Eight Extraordinary Vessels with Dr. Sean Tuten. She previously studied Esoteric Acupuncture with Asha Woo, LAc, one of the foremost students of Dr. Mikio Sankey, the founder of Esoteric Acupuncture. She also completed training in massage in Boulder, Colorado as well as in Craniosacral therapy. leading to certification by the Upledger Institute. She has studied Functional Medicine at the Institute for Functional Medicine and at the Kresser Institute where she completed Chris Kresser’s ADAPT Functional Medicine Practitioner training.
Leora completed the Master Alchemy Apprenticeship Ghost Points training in 2024 and continues her advanced higher-level Alchemy training with the MAAP program. She offers open-hearted, focused, powerful attention for all kinds of chronic and complex diseases of the body, mind, and spirit.
Brittney Chowning
We are so grateful to have Brittney’s spark of enthusiasm, joy, and way of sharing ancient earth wisdom at the Alchemy Learning Center. She started her healing journey in 2012 with yoga and nutrition. She has always been intrigued by the deep mysteries of life and is on a lifelong path searching for Truth, Wisdom, Medicine, and Meaning. She fell in love with Taoism in 2014 and received her master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018. Her love of Spirit and plants drew her to Shamanic healing, Indigenous Wisdoms, Plant Spirit Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture, and eventually Alchemy! She loves weaving all of these beautiful traditions and teachings into her daily life and practices.
Brittney has a beautiful daughter, whom she adores, and is also a cat momma. She finds peace, purpose, and connection in nature and tries to get outside as much as possible. Helping others rediscover and connect to their hearts is her passion project, because in this space, we can be connected to the Truth that we are all loved, loving, and held by the beautiful web of life.
Jaye's Story
Jaye McElroy is an Alchemical Life Strategist, Podcast host of the Inspired Action Podcast, as well as author of Through the Mystery Gate, The Energy of Love, Connecting Your Circle, and The BIG “Little” Gua Sha Book. She is the co-founder of the Alchemy Healing Center (AlchemyHealingCenter.com), a very active Chinese Medicine clinic in Northampton, MA dedicated to helping clients find their true potential through Alchemical transformation. She is a founder of the new Alchemy Learning Center (AlchemyLearningCenter.com), offering online classes and live events related to The Five Elements, The Nine Palaces, and Alchemy.
McElroy combines her career in business, writing, and creative arts with Alchemy and the Five Elements to help people manifest their true potential in life. She considers herself a humble student of life, love, and laughter.

We are dedicated to promoting ancient wisdom for modern times with the desire to empower, inform, and motivate people toward the path of living authentically. We focus on living an authentic and true-to-self life from the understandings of the ancient Chinese Five Elements and the secrets of Internal Alchemy.
