Are you ready to work with Gui Possession?
Are you ALREADY working with Gui and don’t know it?
What do you do when a possessed client walks into your treatment room?
Do you know the safety protocols for working with Gui?
Join us on March 13th with Leta Herman as she shares Alchemical Approaches to Gui Possesion.
This class will introduce you to the diagnostic skills and various types of treatment approaches to treating Gui Possession, including The Thirteen Ghost Points, The Internal Dragons, and The External Dragons.
The word ghost in Chinese has the character for a “hook” in it. A Gui or ghost is something that haunts a person or has a hook in them. The ancient Chinese believed that spirits or ghosts (Po spirits that continue to wander the earthly plane after death and can potentially possess humans) were real. While there are many reasons for Shen/Spirit disturbances a.k.a. mental illness, one of the primary causes of Shen disturbances was believed to be possession. Whether you believe in Gui or not, you are seeing clients that present the symptomatology that has been described for centuries as possession.
Alchemical Chinese Medicine is not just focused on point protocols. It takes a deeper approach to healing, where the healer learns and cultivates shamanic skills for accessing deeper states of consciousness. These skills are particularly useful for working with Gui Possession. As practitioners, we need to understand what to do when our clients present symptoms of Gui possession, including how to keep our patients safe and ourselves safe.
Here's what you'll learn:
- Types of Gui, reasons for Gui Possession.
- Diagnostic skills for identifying Gui Possession.
- Treatment approaches to Gui Possession, including Thirteen Ghost Points, Internal Dragons, and External Dragons.
- The levels of self-cultivation and the journey of the practitioner.
- The role of the Alchemical Healer and how to follow that path.
Who should attend:
- Practitioners interested in incorporating Alchemical Healing approaches into their practice (acupuncturists, acupressurists, medical qigong and other energywork practitioners)
- Five Element practitioners who want to learn more about working with IDs, EDs, and the Ghost Points
