Ultraviolet Meditation

Beyond what the visible spectrum alone can hold, Water and Fire meet, and what arises there is ultraviolet, the color Alchemy itself lives in. This is a merger of two forces that seem opposed combining into something that could not exist without both of them. This ultraviolet point is the same one the ancient texts describe arising through the third eye, where meditation moves through warming colors and finally arrives at this final, highest frequency. To meditate in ultraviolet is to sit in that exact place, the space just past what ordinary perception can register, where transformation actually happens. This piece holds that meeting point, the moment cool and hot, still and driven, Water and Fire, stop opposing each other and become something else entirely.

The Contemplation: Sit with the piece and notice two things in you that feel like opposites, the cool and the hot, the still and the driven. Ask what might be created if you let them merge instead of choosing between them.
