Meet Your Teachers
Leta Herman, CI-AOBTA, LMT is co-founder of the Alchemy Learning Center and Alchemy Healing Center. For over two decades, she has specialized in the esoteric aspects of Chinese Medicine, including the Thirteen Ghost Points and the Nine Stages of Daoist Alchemy. She is the author of multiple books on Five Elements theory and co-host of the Inspired Action Podcast.
Jaye McElroy is co-founder of the Alchemy Learning Center and Alchemy Healing Center. With decades of business and coaching experience, Jaye brings profound depth to Alchemical Life Strategy coaching and has guided hundreds of students through their own journey toward realization.
Leora Esterra, MD, MAc, DABMA, DiplAc is a certified Alchemical Practitioner and Teacher at ALC. She brings both Western medical training and deep understanding of Alchemical Chinese Medicine, bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary healing. She joined the MAAP teaching team in 2025.
Together, Leta and Jaye have been teaching the Master Alchemy Apprenticeship Program since 2019, guiding students on the path to becoming realized human beings.

Is this webinar really free?
Yes. We’re teaching real content whether you ever join MAAP or not. We’ll introduce the program at the end for those interested, but the teaching is valuable on its own.
I’m not an acupuncturist – is this for me?
Absolutely. The path to realization doesn’t require credentials. About half our MAAP students are practitioners, and half come purely for their own awakening. Both are honored.
What if I can’t attend live?
Register anyway and we’ll send the replay. But live is always more powerful – you can ask questions and there’s energy in being part of the group.
Is this really about “enlightenment”?
Yes – though Daoists call it becoming a realized human being. It’s the path to living as your true nature, undefended and free. The Nine Stages is the map. Your heart is the starting point.
Will you be selling something?
We’ll talk about our January MAAP cohort at the end for people who feel called to walk this path with guidance. But there’s no pressure, and the webinar content is valuable regardless.
